Updates?

Been WAY~ tooooo busy to update juicy gossips or scandals as of late...why you might ask? I can show you better than I can tell you...observe below......

What else could be better than nice juicy gossip for a break....

Womanizing S is currently behaving quite decently...is this merely a cover up as the plot thickens or is he taking a short vacation since he just finished exams.

Kara arrived in Kuching...but is hopelessly missing her bf who happens to be in Sabah for now...Lets hope they see each other soon, else its emo Kara all the way till new year.

Sophy is single again...but not quite available? Is she playing the field again or has she fallen for someone that we don't know of?

So much speculations...so little time....

till next time....xoxox....

UNIMAS big MESS!

The clock's been ticking everywhere except in UNIMAS. Up until now, UNIMAS has yet to come up with any official invitation for the Yayasan Sarawak World Style Debate 2009, otherwise what we Debaters refer to as the 'Yayasan'. To our family members in UNIMAS - careful there, messing the Yayasan won't please anyone. Till then, update me on anything new. You know where to find me. XOXO.

Swinburne the Womanizer??!

Unless my ears have bleed or gone deaf, I believe I got this right. The innocent-looking Swinburne isn’t that innocent after all. Spotted making out (yes! That’s right!) with an heiress in one of the café’s in uptown Kuching, Swinburne may after all be a promiscuous debater. From what we have gathered from one of the waiters there, it seems that Swinburne has been on the prowl for awhile, and we were deceived by his halo all this while. The best part: the heiress wasn’t the first on his hit list. Rumour has it that a few other ‘highly rated’ girls are on his list. Classy, Swinburne. Lucky that the waiter doesn’t know your name. Luckier still I was there to catch you. But I’m not complaining after all: this new Swinburne is darker and tastier. Good luck, Swinburne. We await your latest conquest. XOXO

P/s: Still in denial, S? We hope not. We like the ‘real’ you

4th Swinburne WSDC

For 4 years this debater has been in the Swinburne WSDC without fail each midterm break. It started with Mr Loke Wing Fatt and Ms Cheong En Min from SAiD,Singpore in 2006 with only 12 teams participating, all the way to Mr Iqbal Hadfiez during the 3rd year where SM Lodge brings home the championship cup for winning it 3 years in a row.

Champions come and go each year..this year with Dr Sooch as the Chief Adjudicator, everything starts anew. 36 teams, 108 debaters this year with more and more high schools joining the debating community it certainly feels like an achievement to all the members of Swinburne Debaters Club. Familiar faces come back each year striving harder and performing better, new faces coming to accept the challenge and learning after each round of prelim really gives a sense of accomplishment to this heart that have been around since the very first Swinburne WSDC. The biggest surpise this year would be the emergence of new champions and new power house(S) of debate (yes, Houses...the competition is getting stiff) as well as debaters as young as Form 1 from GRSS (very cute!!). .These are not just participants of a tournament they're Debaters!

Hoping to see more of them next year in the 5th Swinburne WSDC.... well it might just be the last year this debater adjudicates in the Swinburne WSDC.

Many thanks to all the working committee of Swinburne WSDC from the very first WSDC till now..and the legacy shall continue...

SPOTTED: WC having Raja Ayam Penyet

Click on Image to view in FULL

SpOttEd : WC, current debater from Swinburne having Ayam Penyet. What seems to be interesting is that after complaining the spiciness of the sambal which was provided he went on to order another air bandung and came back with another saucer full of sambal. His tolerance for spicy food is known to be high up, doubt if anyone one of us expected it to that high up.

On a lighter note, the Kuching Debate League for the month of April has been cancelled.
Is this an April fool's joke from IPBL? April Fools is way over ladies and gentlemen.
Debaters from most institution wonders why. We were told that its a rotationale event but seems that IPBL has yet to do their share. We shall wait and see then.

Good Luck to UiTM, Sarawak Debaters in their final exams this month.

Till Next time...xoxoxo

April Fool's Birthday Boy

Jonny Boy, formerly INTI College ,De House Debater now turned Swinburne Debater celebrated his 22nd birthday yesterday, talk about being born as a joke.In conjunction with April Fools a lil prank undergone since the day before where he almost "jizzed" in his pants when two friends pretended to be in a serious argument and that he was in the middle of crossfire.

As ritual a face full of cake and cream is always a must and he got it @ Hijau, BDC where both his friends argued in front of him and almost fought...only after a while did he realize that it was an elaborate April Fool's joke when Heirul spilled the line :" I can't believe that you're pissed off juz because I said your toytoy itchy"

Jonny boy, you know you love that joke and you love us even more..haha...

Happy Birthday Jonny Boy!

Till Next time.. xoxoxo

SPOTTED:Michelle, the Jambu Girl

M: All work and no play?

SPOTTED: Our fellow debater from INTI, Michelle was spotted serving plates and glasses in the comfy Jambu Restaurant. But not all is glam and fab - as M confessed of her financial struggles in her blog. While the maiden is ill, where is the knight in the shining armour?

Halfway across the City, the peasants and nobles of IPBL are up for a show - the next Kuching Debating League. Started by INTI's Debating Club, Da House - it soon caught momentum of circuits through the institutions in Kuching.

Rumour has it, that UiTM was supposed to hold the next tournament. But what happened between then and now is still in a muddy chapters. But no worries, I'll soon scoop my nose low enough to smell the news. But not to close, smudges are detectable.

Till then, XOXO.
